Mitie commits to electric vehicle fleet

UK facilities management company Mitiehas committed to transitioning its fleet of 5,300 vehicles to electric by 2030. This is in addition to its commitment to ensure 20 percent of its small van and car fleet is electric prior to the end of 2020.

Winking robots to be cleaning and rapping on Singapore streets by 2020

Absenteeism in Spanish cleaning sector rises dramatically

Workforce absenteeism among Spain's cleaning companies has increased by over 91 per cent over the past five years. That's according to data compiled by contract cleaning association Aspel.
Absenteeism in the industry rose from 14,136 workers in 2013 to 27,107 workers in the year 2018, an increase the association describes as "disproportionate"
