CMS Purus Innovation Award finalists announced

In Germany the organisers of the CMS cleaning exhibition - which takes place in Berlin from September 19-22 - have announced the finalists for its Purus Innovation Award (PIA).
There are 18 in total, across six categories.

Kärcher launches UK buy back scheme

Kärcher Professional UK has launched its Buy Back initiative, whereby commercial customers can trade in old cleaning machines for a discount against new equipment. Kärcher will then recycle the outdated model.

Global facility management business ISS has made a commitment to recruit 1,000 refugees across its European operations over the next three years.
The announcement came at Tent Partnership for Refugee's European Business Summit in Paris, and builds upon the company's on-going commitment to hire, train and upskill immigrants and refugees.
