ISS wins pan-European facility services contract

Denmark-based facility services provider ISS has won a contract with pharmaceutical company Novartis for its sites in Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Slovenia.

Based in Basel, Switzerland, Novartis has awarded ISS the delivery of integrated facility services at 22 sites across the four countries with effect from January 1 2013.

Olympic clean-up teams clear 85 tonnes of rubbish

A team of 200 cleaners cleared up to 85 tonnes of rubbish from the streets of London during the first weekend of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
