China Clean adds more new shows

The next China Clean Expo takes place from March 31 to April 2 in Shanghai and organisers say there will be another six new shows alongside it - together with a series of conferences and seminars.

A national campaign in Scotland to ensure that NHS hospital staff regularly wash their hands is being scrapped.
But one in 10 doctors are claimed to be still failing to meet the required hand hygiene standards.

People using public toilets in Shenzhen, China, will be fined if they have a poor aim and miss their mark - officials have said.
The penalty of 12 euros will apply to those who urinate outside the bowl at public toilets in the southern town, which neighbours Hong Kong. However draft regulations do not specify a minimum quantity of spillage

Henkel withdraws toilet freshener after Ukraine takes offence

German consumer goods company Henkel has pulled a toilet freshener from the eastern European market after Ukrainians complained it looked like the former Soviet republic's flag.
A television advertisement for the Bref Duo Stick freshener run in Russia caught the attention of Ukrainians - many of whom watch Russian television.
