12th of February 2018In the UK, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has issued an initial enforcement order to Rentokil Initial in relation to its Cannon Hygiene acquisition in January.
Rentokil acquired Cannon from the OCS Group, having acquired Cannon Pest Control - which is not subject to the CMA investigation - in January 2017.

Norovirus outbreak at Winter Olympics 2018
8th of February 2018The Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea have been struck by an outbreak of norovirus among security guards. As a result 1,200 have been withdrawn from their roles and replaced by military personnel. The games are due to start tomorrow.
