Spanish cleaning association sets out priorities for post-pandemic recovery

Spanish contract cleaning association ASPEL has published a report in which it lists its proposals and solutions for the economic recovery of the buildings and premises cleaning sector following the pandemic.The document examines issues relating to contracting, substitution, tax law, absenteeism and the minimum wage, among others.

ASFEL, the national association of Spanish cleaning and hygiene product manufacturers, has published its latest data for the year. Its report shows exports of professional cleaning and hygiene products increased by 15.35 per cent in the first half of 2021.

Fewer Brits wash their hands after using the toilet than prior to the pandemic

Research in the UK suggests that fewer people wash their hands after visiting a public washroom now, than in 2018.
The survey of 1,000 people by Initial Washroom Hygiene found that two thirds (66 per cent) of Brits say they always wash their hands after using a public washroom, compared to 74 per cent in 2018. A smaller percentage (54 per cent)
