EU Ecolabel introduces new criteria
26th of April 2017The European Commission will introduce stricter limits to its EU Ecolabel criteria for cleaning products in June. The requirements have undergone a two-year revision process.
The major changes are:
•Microplastics will be banned from products
•Removal of the derogation for fragrances classified chronic category 3 (H412);

Air-cleaning billboards erected in London
25th of April 2017A pollution-busting advertising banner has appeared in London's Leicester Square.
The billboard, which incorporates an air-cleaning substance called The Breath, is claimed to be able to reverse the emission effects of more than 13,000 cars a year.
Invented in Italy by Anemotech, The Breath uses nano-molecules to remove nitrous oxides, sulphur
