Southend Hospital cleaner still cleaning at 90
7th of March 2024A 90-year-old grandmother is still working as a cleaner at a UK hospital - and says she has no plans to retire.
Margaret Price from Rochford in Essex has been a cleaner at Southend Hospital since 1991. Before that she was employed at nearby Rochford Hospital.
She works three days a week and her job entails walking four miles a day around the

Qantas relieved Theo Seremetidis of his duties in February 2020 after the operative directed others to stop cleaning and servicing planes under the Work Health and Safety Act.

Amsterdam Innovation Award 2024 - final nominations revealed
1st of March 2024The finalists for this year's Amsterdam Innovation Award - a highlight of the Interclean Amsterdam exhibition this May - have been announced today.
The 12 nominees were selected by an independent jury from 96 entries across four categories. The winner of each category will be announced during the opening ceremony of the show on Tuesday, May 14.

Derby-based Go 4 Greener has teamed up with biotechnology company Advetec in a bid to repurpose washroom waste for businesses.
Go 4 Greener claims it will have the capacity to process 4,000 tonnes a year of items
