Five earn top prize in US awards

International trade association ISSA has announced the five winners of this year's Innovation Award - the prizes were officially presented at the ISSA/INTERCLEAN North America exhibition in Las Vegas last month.
In the Cleaning Agents category Diversey won for its SmartDose; Nilfisk-Advance has won in Equipment for the Advance Adfinity REV
Trojan enters strategic alliance

Stomach upsets linked to contaminated ice in drinks

Dirty hands and utensils are contaminating the ice in our soft drinks and cocktails, a study reveals.
Tests carried out at 88 UK bars, cafes and restaurants revealed that nearly a third of ice, scoops and ice machines showed evidence of poor hygiene.

Tennant Company in the USA has strongly defended its advertising of scrubber dryers using ec-H2O technology against lawsuits filed by German competitor Kärcher

EFCI president encourages optimism
