Cleaning company fined over ink vat fatality

An Australian contract cleaning company has been fined AUS $600,000 (€374,000) after one of its operatives died in the ink vat he was cleaning.
Craig Tanner, 42, was national operations manager of a Sydney-based industrial cleaning company and was drafted in as a specialist to work at an ink plant in Auburn, New South Wales.

More than four out of five older Londoners are unhappy with the number of public toilets in their borough, according to a study by Age UK London.

The Italian professional cleaning exhibition ISSA Pulire took place in Milan last month, attracting over 20,000 visitors according to the organisers. Visitors came from 107 countries, including foreign delegations from the USA, Egypt, Morocco, South Africa, Kenya and Ghana.
