Soap dispensers in public toilets could be hiding deadly bacteria

Tests carried out at the University of Arizona have suggested that soap dispensers could be harbouring potentially dangerous bacteria.
Germ specialist Dr Charles Gerba analysed soap dispensers in 296 food establishments across Arizona, Ohio and New Jersey. And he discovered that 15 per cent tested positive for harmful bacteria including E. coli
Pocket-sized robot will keep your personal space clean

A patent-pending robot has been developed in the US to sanitise and disinfect hotel surfaces.
The pocket-sized CleanseBot from Ventur Studio will run for four hours before requiring a charge. It is equipped with four UV-C lamps and its manufacturers say it is capable of killing 99.99 per cent of germs, bacteria and dust mites.
