Looking ahead to ISSA/INTERCLEAN Amsterdam 2016

The organiser of the ISSA/INTERCLEAN Amsterdam 2016 exhibition taking place next May has dedicated the show to the theme 'Networking and Innovation'. In line with that there will be a number of new developments in terms of how the event is staged, says Amsterdam RAI.

US college students ‘lax about washing their hands’

More than 50 per cent of students tested on a US college campus were found to have large amounts of different types of bacteria on their hands.
The aim of the study - carried out at the University of Findlay in Ohio - was to consider the link between hand hygiene and illness.

UK EHRC industry taskforce campaigns to improve cleaners' working conditions

A campaign to promote good working conditions in the cleaning industry has been launched by an industry-led taskforce set up by the Equality and Human Rights Commission.
The taskforce is made up of businesses, trade associations and trade unions.

Sodexo employees on month-long health drive

Facility services provider Sodexo has been holding its own month-long Wellbeing Challenge at its operation in the UK and Ireland.
The initiative, open to its 34,000 employees, was run through the Wellbeing Zone, Sodexo's new website and smartphone app that allows employees to track their diet and physical activity and follow personalised fitness
