World Toilet Day highlights sanitation crisis

Last Saturday (November 19) was the tenth World Toilet Day (WTD). This was designated by the World Toilet Organisation as the day we all think about the plight of the 2.6 billion people worldwide who face every day without access to proper, clean sanitation.

Diners across Europe are not convinced about the hygiene standards of staff in restaurants and fast-food chains, a new survey has revealed.
