Hand sanitiser ingredients found in fresh water sources
6th of September 2012An increased use of hand sanitisers over recent years is having a knock-on effect on our lakes and rivers, according to a recent study.
Scientists at Arizona State University claim that ingredients from hand sanitisers are filtering into water reserves with a potential impact on the environment, wildlife and people.

Digital bracelet helps monitor hospital hand hygiene
30th of August 2012A system has been developed by Israeli startup company Hyginex to help reduce the risk of cross contamination around hospitals and other healthcare sites. Digtial bracelets work alongside sensor-embedded soap dispensers to detect if the user has washed their hands properly.
