Nexaro’s robots are security certified

Companies are becoming increasingly concerned about the security of data collected by their robot cleaning machines, according to Nexaro.

This company is therefore very excited to have received IOT security and safety certification from TUV for its machines.

"This only happened around two weeks ago," said brand and communications manager Jovanna Ibach. "Security is a very important issue and we are proud to have received certification from both TUV Sud and TUV Austria."

She says many companies keen to use cleaning robots are nervous about doing so due to security concerns.

"For example, large technology companies may worry that their ideas could be stolen via a cleaning robot," she said. "We have also attracted interest from national departments for security and safety - places where there are already strict regulations in place covering human employees."

TUV Sud and TUV Austria are both independent technical inspection and certification agencies providing services such as testing, auditing and certification for safety, quality, and sustainability.

Nexaro products include the NR 1700 robot vacuum cleaner for use in large commercial areas. This uses AI technology and precise laser navigation to navigate complex and large-scale environments.
