Interclean Amsterdam 2026 officially opened this morning with the announcement of the overall winner of the Amsterdam Innovation Award. DRYFT World took the top prize for the DRYFT S-motion floor scrubber - which the jury said shows strong potential to have a very meaningful impact on the professional cleaning market.

The winners in the four categories are: 

Sustainability & Environment: Essity, Hygiene for All

Smart Technologies & Digitalisation: Facility Apps, Virtual Reality Training for Cleaners

Hygiene & Health: Vileda Professional, TraXero Wheel Cleaner

Workforce & Ergonomics: DRYFT World for DRYFT

Michelle Marshall, ECJ editor and chair of the jury said: "Huge congratulations to our category winners, and to our overall winner. DRYFT is such a deserving winner because its outstanding features go beyond those we focused on in the Workforce & Ergonomics category.

"Of course, one of its key advantages is that it has been designed around the needs of cleaning operatives, making the job less ergonomically demanding and physically arduous. However it has many other qualities around cleaning performance, coverage and versatility across different applications."

She added: "Once again this year we have seen how the Interclean Amsterdam exhibitors from around the world serving the cleaning industry are continuing to invest in innovating and evolving. In each category there is a good spread of different companies and our final nominees each offers something different in the category where it's been selected."

Visitors' Choice Award

Cleaning industry professionals have been voting for their favourite innovation from among the final nominees on the Interclean Amsterdam website. The nominee with the most public votes would win the Visitors' Choice Award. The prize this year has been awarded to ??????

Cleaners' Choice Award

The nominees of the Dutch Cleaner of the Year (Schoonmaker van het Jaar) award also voted for their winning innovation.

They selected ??? as this year's winner of the Cleaners' Choice Award.
