OCS acquires Maxim FM

In the UK, facilities services provider OCS has acquired Maxim FM in the north-east of England. This is the group's sixth strategic transaction in the UK over the last 18 months and follows its acquisition of Scottish facilities management specialist FES FM and FES Support Services at the end of last year.

Scientist says gyms are 'riddled with germs'

Dumbbells, barbells and workout machines commonly used in gyms can act as reservoirs for disease-causing germs, according to a scientist.
