The European Union has formally signed on a new unitary patent for 24 participating member states. This comes after 40 years of negotiation, one of the longest in the trading area's history.

Three new Airblades from Dyson

Dyson has developed a brand new digital motor that is being used to power three new Airblade hand dryers - the Dyson Airblade Tap, the Airblade V and the reengineered Airblade.
Airblade technology uses sheets of high velocity unheated air that travel through tiny apertures at 430 mph - scraping water from hands like a windscreen wiper.

Preparations start for CMS Berlin

The organisers of the CMS cleaning exhibition in Berlin, which takes place from September 24-27, have reported high early booking levels.
