Diversey team changes

Global cleaning solutions provider Diversey has realigned its operating regions worldwide and made some changes to its management team. In Europe, this means Moreno Dezio is to take over as regional president. Dezio was previously the regional president in Greater Asia-Pacific.
He succeeds Pedro Chidichimo, who has now been appointed president,
3M patent win
16th of March 2011The Board of Appeal of the European Patent Office (EPO) has finally dismissed an appeal by HTC Sweden against a previous decision to revoke its European patent for its method of maintaining floors with diamond floor pads. It was 3M that opposed the original patent grant in 2007.

Tork manufacturer SCA has set a new Guinness World Record for the highest number of people sanitising their hands at the same time. The record was broken at a US football stadium where 2,151 supporters simultaneously sanitised their hands before a Philadelphia Union v LA Galaxy football match.
