Dreumex acquires Gent-L-Kleen
15th of September 2010Netherlands-based hand hygiene products specialist Dreumex has acquired fellow hand care solutions producer Gent-L-Kleen, based in Pennsylvania, USA.
For Dreumex, which currently supplies European markets, this is an important milestone in its global strategy. Jan-Chris Heeger, managing director, explained: “This acquisition marks the next step on the road to a global leading position for Dreumex in the industrial hand care market. Gent-L-Kleen will be a strategic base for Dreumex to produce select products for North American markets.”
Accelerated growth
Gent-L-Kleen has been established for over 60 years and its plant will continue operations under the direction of current president Jim Strickler. Commenting on the merger he said: “We are very confident in the Dreumex organization and proud to be a part of their team. This new venture will lead to accelerated growth in Gent-L-Kleen’s future.

Dreumex is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and has branches in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France. It supplies products in over 30 countries.
