Vectair announces leadership changes
16th of February 2026Aircare and hygiene solutions specialist Vectair, which has its headquarters in the US, has made some leadership changes. Peter Lipke, chief executive officer, has been appointed executive chairman of the board, and Steve Schoembs, president, assumes the role of chief executive officer.
Lipke has served as CEO of Vectair since December 2020, guiding the business through the notable acquisitions of Big D Industries and WizKid Products.
"Vectair has great people, and a strong team culture that delivers innovation and commitment to the industry and our customers. There are significant opportunities ahead for our business," Lipke said. "Steve Schoembs is a proven leader with the right combination of strategic vision and operational discipline to lead Vectair going forward."
Schoembs joined Vectair in October 2025 as president, leading the US sales strategy. As CEO he will lead Vectair's global operations, customer strategy, and innovation roadmap. Prior to joining Vectair, he served as the CEO of Royal Paper and held numerous roles during a nearly 20-year career at Procter & Gamble.
"I'm honoured to step into the CEO role and lead Vectair forward. We have a strong foundation, an outstanding team, and incredible partners around the world," commented Schoembs.
