In the UK, soft FM provider SBFM has made its first acquisition - commercial cleaning company ecosense. This follows ecosense's entry into administration. 

The deal secures the ecosense contracts across the UK, along with all 1,200 jobs. Existing ecosense client contracts have transferred to SBFM and services continue without disruption.

Founded in 2010 and headquartered in London, ecosense had grown into a nationwide cleaning provider with a strong portfolio of private and public sector customers. The acquisition brings SBFM a complementary technology offering and further strengthens its presence across both sectors, it says.
