New lance helps to control the foam, says Idrobase

New from Idrobase is a lightweight foam lance that allows the operator to choose the type of foam they want to produce.

The patented Piuma lance has three foam density settings: a closed regulator for less aggressive washing applications; one hole open for intermediate uses and an open regulator to create the densest of foams.

"It is very helpful for the operator to be able to regulate foam quality in this way," said group area manager Marco Ferrarese. "The product also has an aluminium construction which means it weighs a third less than traditional models." The Piuma is designed for dispensing disinfectant and sanitising foams.

Idrobase is also presenting a compact new foam nebuliser for car washing at this week's exhibition.

The Click Clock is small, effective and easy to refill according to Ferrarese. It has a removable funnel and handle which means the machine can be packed efficiently into containers, allowing more units to be transported at once.

"Another benefit of the Click Clock is the fact that it provides an excellent foam quality," said Ferrarese. "And the inside of the container has a titanium oxide epoxy coating which prevents any oxidisation or rust formation."

The Click Clock features a 24 litre capacity, a detergent level indicator and a non-clog nozzle.
