Goodway Technologies - which has its headquarters in the US - has acquired UK-based dry steam cleaning equipment manufacturer OspreyDeepclean, expanding its presence in Europe and broadening its cleaning and sanitation technology portfolio.

The acquisition brings together two companies serving sectors including food and beverage processing, manufacturing, transportation and facilities management. Goodway Technologies said the move strengthens its range of industrial cleaning solutions while increasing its footprint in the UK and European markets.

OspreyDeepclean designs and supplies professional and industrial dry steam cleaning equipment, which is used across commercial and industrial environments for cleaning and sanitation applications.

Thomas Stücken, managing director of OspreyDeepclean, said the partnership would enable the company to accelerate product development while continuing to support its existing customer base.

Goodway Technologies said OspreyDeepclean will become part of its global portfolio while continuing to support customers and distribution partners throughout the UK and Europe.

The US-headquartered company, which has supplied industrial maintenance and cleaning solutions for more than 60 years, said the acquisition represents a further step in the expansion of its international business and its portfolio of cleaning and sanitation technologies.
