Celtex acquires Hecatec

Italian paper manufacturer Celtex has completed its acquisition of the German group Hecatec, which also operates in the tissue products sector and in nonwoven fabrics used in cleaning, personal hygiene and in particular the health sector.
The company, which has plants in Tuscany, had revenues of approximately €100 million in 2014, with over 60 per cent of its products being exported. Its collaboration with Hecatec, which has a turnover of €40 million, dates back some 20 years.
