25 years celebration for Idrobase3rd of June 2011
Idrobase, best known in the industry for its high pressure cleaning range, was celebrating its 25th year in business during the Pulire exhibition in Verona last week.
From its humble beginnings as a distributor for Kärcher and Faip in 1986, the company has now become one of Italy's leading producers of high pressure cleaners, spare parts and - in recent years - nebulisation products.
Bruno Ferrarese told ECJ the company now has a turnover of 80 million euros - just 15 per cent of it in the Italian market. "The largest share of our high pressure cleaner sales is in Japan and we see the most significant growth coming from the Far East, China and Russia in the future."
The next major launch from Idrobase will be in 2012, when the Monster high pressure cleaner makes its debut in the heavy industrial markets. This new machine has been specially developed for use in shipyards and mines in South Africa, Russia and China.
Meanwhile, Ferrarese was hosting a weekend of celebration for friends and customers of Idrobase in Venice following the Pulire show.
