Anna Garbagna in Italy reports on a new section of the Pulire exhibition to be included in 2015.

The new project for the next Pulire exhibition in Verona next May was presented in Milan recently. It is Pulire Clean, an area dedicated to manufacturers of machines for the washing and care of textiles, which next year will offer its visitors a whole pavilion whose objectives will be the promotion and highlighting of new products of a world which is more and more in synergy with the professional cleaning sector.

Pulire, which has been for over 30 years the largest exhibition for professional cleaning in Italy, attracted over 270 exhibitors from 25 countries during the last edition and welcomed over 14,000 visitors from 90 countries across the world.

The event hosts the main producers of mops, flat mops and uniforms which require more and more effective and specific washing solutions, such pre-impregnation of mops and flat mops with the detergents required to clean floors or special drying techniques which don’t damage the characteristics of materials.

In the chemical products area, it will be possible to create synergies and partnerships  in view of the creation of a complete service of washing machines and detergents, aimed at those markets which represent the primary interest of both sectors: Horeca, hospitals, health environments and centres.

From the visitors’ point of view, Pulire has always offered a number of contact opportunities to the operators of professional laundry services. In fact, 29 per cent of the exhibition’s visitors are represented by large service and facilities management companies which more and more permanently offer outsourcing services especially for the hospitality and hospital sectors. On the other hand, 40 per cent is  composed of distributors, dealers, sellers, importers, and purchasing groups.

The brand Pulire is an international network of exhibitions in Spain, Russia, Dubai, Asia, India, Australia and South Africa.

“Pulire is an event which is always dynamic and always new for the operators of the sector, while also retaining the historical significance of its connotation. In order to be more and more all-embracing of the professional cleaning industry and of all the services related to it,” declared Toni D’Andrea, managing director of Afidamp Servizi, the company which organises Pulire.

“We have launched the concept  2.0 for the first time at the 2013 show, which we will extend further in 2015 and it is with great pleasure that we communicate the intention to open an area dedicated to the washing and care of textiles. We believe that, to reserve a pavilion of Pulire to this sector so strongly linked to cleaning, is the proof of an organisation which is clearly orientated towards the market and a proof of the will to build a greater network."
