A sweeper from Kärcher and no-touch disinfection system from Sanoserv have been named winners of the Golden Broom Innovation Awards, which were presented during the ISSA/iNTERCLEAN Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) in Warsaw recently.

TheKM 105/100 R from Kärcher is a compact ride-on sweeper featuring an automatic filter cleaning device and the Kärcher Intelligent Key system. There is a new main broom concept and self-adjusting pressure.

The latest generation of Sanoserv no-touch disinfection solutions combine the effect of both spraying devices and disinfectants. The oxidizing disinfectant claims to destroy 99.99 per cent of all hazardous germs and bacteria without posing a threat to humans, animals or plants.

"The products and technologies entered for this year's Golden Broom competition showed innovative use of technology, solutions for everyday problems and services to more effectively fulfil customer needs," said the jury.

"It was a difficult task to elect the eventual winners from such an array of diverse and innovative products."
