CHSA at The Cleaning Show
13th of March 2013In recent years the Cleaning and Hygiene Suppliers’ Association (CHSA) has developed a number of Manufacturing Standards Accreditation Schemes designed to drive up standards and boost buyer confidence when they see the schemes’ logos.
The schemes currently cover soft tissue, plastic refuse sacks and industrial cotton mops. They guarantee consistency of supply (customers receive exactly what they order), accurate labelling and fully audited manufacturers.
Heather Stiles, a member of the panel that manages the schemes explained: “The profile of the Manufacturing Accreditation Scheme has increased and an increasing number of non-members are seeking to join in order to provide their customers with the reassurance that
their products are correctly labelled with product dimensions and there is no intention
to mislead their customers.”
