Kärcher’s B 40 C-W walk-behind scrubber dryer features the company's Intelligent Key operating system that enables every user to set up an individual profile. Kärcher says the machine is also efficient because it is always adjusted optimally to each application, and its low noise level makes it suitable for cleaning in noise-sensitive applications.

Kärcher Intelligent Key can be used to set varying levels of authorised access by means of colour-coded keys (yellow for operator, grey for facility manager, red for service technician). The facility manager, for example, can set parameters such as travel speed, brush speed, motor output or cleaning agent dosage to suit the application.

The key is used to transmit the settings to the machine and all the operator has to do is use the rotary switch to select the appropriate cleaning programme.

For more energy efficient and environmentally conscious cleaning, the Eco!efficiency mode can be selected. And with a width of 62 cm, the B 40 C-W can negotiate narrow passages such as those between supermarket checkouts, and it can be transported in lifts.
