Antibacterial Copper+ process from Rezi

25th of November 2015

A new antibacterial finishing process for cleaning textiles (cloths and mops) has been developed by Rezi in collaboration with the University of Innsbruck.

Damp cleaning textiles are often ideal breeding grounds for germs, which can present a serious problem in areas such as healthcare. The new Copper+ process from Rezi is a technique based
around copper for the antibacterial finishing of cloths and mops.

The natural antibacterial effect does not depend on any kind of chemistry or nanotechnology and is safe to use for both users and the environment. Copper not only prevents bacterial growth, it
also eliminates up to 99.9 per cent of bacteria.
