The SalveSafe line of disinfectant cleaners for food preparation areas from Salveco is based on lactic acid. This, the company says, means they come with as little health or environmental risk as possible - while still being as efficient as other cleaners.

The formulas are of 100 per cent natural origin and do not carry toxic ingredients. The products themselves do not present any risk phases nor any eco-toxicity says Salveco. They are 100 per cent biodegradable on the whole formula within 28 days.

The company intends to make this technology available to manufacturers and distributors under their own brands.
