Prochem Europe has developed a system solution for interim carpet cleaning using encapsulation. The polymer spray-and-brush process is a low moisture method whose soil release agents detach soil and other residues from the carpet or fabric fibres by binding with them.
As the polymer-based solution dries, it hardens to a brittle, crystalline structure - encapsulating or trapping soil and residues in the dried particle which is removed when the carpet is next vacuumed.
A dilution of Prochem’s Fibreclean with new formulation and fresh ‘ocean breeze’ fragrance is sprayed lightly over the carpet with a low pressure sprayer and then brushed in with a pile brush or cylindrical brush machine.
