Mediclinics dryers boast energy savings

Available in either white or satin aluminium finish are the new ‘hands-in’ hand dryers developed by Mediclinics. Low energy consumption is a key feature of the dryers, the company says, and it claims savings of up to 73 per cent compared to similar models.
Drying time is said to be eight seconds, making it suitable for use in high traffic areas. The speed regulator on the motor helps to reduce energy consumption and noise level.
The surface and water tank are coated with Biocote, an antimicrobial and antibacterial protection that inhibits the reproduction of micro-organisms throughout the life of the product. The filter is treated with SurfaceAide XL, which prevents the growth of bacteria, mould and mildew.
Optional extras include anti-graffiti protection and odour-neutralising tablet.
