CS140 Twin Action Comac sweeper needs no water
11th of December 2013The urban sweeper CS140 Twin Action from Comac combines mechanical collection with vacuum action - effectively acting as two machines in one. The mechanical action collects solid debris while the vacuum picks up the finest dust.
This means no water is required to control the dust distributed by the side brushes - with the Twin Action system the brushes work where the vacuum is running so dust is immediately dealt with. Traditional sweepers often carry from 400 to 700 litres of water, added weight that affects fuel consumption and tyre wear.
Filtering surface area is 50 square metres, which Comac says is more than double the surface used by many other models.
