WFBSC to hold Berlin congress in 2017

The World Federation of Building Service Contractors (WFBSC) is to hold its 22nd world congress from September 18-20 2017 in Berlin. The event will take place alongside the professional cleaning exhibition CMS and the theme will be the opportunities and challenges faced by increasing digitisation.

The speaker programme will focus on automation and its impact on human behaviour. Topics being discussed include how Industry 4.0 affects relationship management, recruitment, processes and service performance within cleaning sector companies.

Thomas Dietrich, president of the German contract cleaning federation BIV and also of WFBSC explained the objectives: "Let us work together to answer the question as to what kind of opportunities these developments can offer us, our (future) employees and our customers. Take inspiration from the views of well-known leading representatives from the world of international politics, key decision-makers from various interest groups and industry professionals."

He added: "Three days of intensive professional development and exciting global networking opportunities will motivate you to take the initiative and continue to network further."

The WFBSC comprises national and international associations as well as individuals, manufacturers and suppliers from throughout the world.
