WFBSC Berlin congress - early bird discount ends soon

Delegates registering for the World Federation of Building Service Contractors (WFBSC) congress in Berlin this September can save €300 by doing so before July 27 thanks to the special early bird rate.

Cleaning in a Digital World - with its impact on processes, people and technology - will be the central focus of the programme which takes place from September 18-20. Together with specialists from all over the world, participants will discuss which aspects of business activities will be impacted by digitalisation.

This includes what consequences digitalisation will have on service processes and performance; to what extent the importance of knowledge acquisition and the use of stored data will change; and how building service providers will be working together with their customers in the future.

Monday September 18

Keynote II - Daniel Domscheit-Berg on Chances and Risks of Digital Interconnection
Daniel Domscheit-Berg has been engaged with the topics freedom of information sharing and transparency on the Internet for many years.

A computer science graduate from Mannheim specialised in applied information systems, he put great effort into building the IT security system of WikiLeaks from 2007 to 2010 and was also the spokesperson for the pseudonym Daniel Schmitt at the same time.

Today Domscheit-Berg works on various projects concerned with the protection of private data on the Internet as well as the decentralisation of the network infrastructure. As an owner of an innovation lab, he holds great passion for advising companies on how to mobilise new technology.
