Vermop Salmon acquired by Vileda Professional

The Professional division of Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions, which owns the Vileda Professional brand, has acquired fellow cleaning tools and systems specialist Vermop. This includes the Hefter Cleantech cleaning machines brand which Vermop acquired in 2020. Both businesses are based in Germany.
"We are pleased that this acquisition will enable us to successfully continue our national and international growth strategy and tap into new potential," said Karin Overbeck, CEO of Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions.
Isabel Merkel, president of Professional at Freudenberg Home & Cleaning Solutions added: "We complement each other perfectly in terms of alignment with the two brands Vileda Professional and VERMOP, creating a strong national player in the German market with very good international prospects."
For now Vermop, which has 330 employees, will continue to operate as usual and the integration of its brands will be implemented over the coming year.
