Toilet texting on the increase17th of February 2012
Thanks to modern smartphones, more and more people are making sure they are never out of telephone contact - even in the toilet.
A new study of mobile phone habits among 1,000 people shows 75 per cent of people have texted, emailed, used apps or surfed the web while nature calls.
More than 90 per cent of people between 28 and 35 will return a call or text while sitting on the toilet. One in five men joined a conference call while sitting on the toilet. And 16 per cent actually shop while on the toilet.
