EUnited Cleaning, the association of European cleaning machines manufacturers, has announced the return of European Cleaning Days (ECD) for 2016. The initiative aims to highlight the importance and the benefits of professional cleaning in areas like offices, hospitals, airports, train stations, etc.

Since the campaign was first launched eight months ago there have been 37 events, ranging from from the cleaning of public places in action, to educational events and exhibitions. More than 2,000 people have visited the website since the beginning of the campaign, and the corresponding Facebook pages has received more than 1,200 'likes'.

EUnited says this proves people are curious to find out more about the cleaning industry, hygiene and the prevention of diseases by means of professional cleaning. But there is still much to do.

Participation is free as is promotion through ECD social media campaigns.
