Sofidel makes LPC acquisition
15th of September 2010Sofidel, the tissue producer with its headquarters in Italy, has acquired LPC group in the UK which manufacturers household paper and hygiene products.
LPC has 1,120 employees and tissue capacity of almost 190,000 tons. With its addition to the Sofidel stable the group's production capacity has now risen to almost one million tones, with 4,320 employees. The group now has a turnover of around €1.3 billion.
