SCA remains one of the world's most ethical companies15th of April 2015
SCA, manufacturer of Tork hand hygiene and tissue systems, has appeared in this year's World's Most Ethical Companies listing for the eighth year running. It was one of only three companies in the Forestry, Paper and Packaging category to appear.
"SCA places strong emphasis on corporate responsibility and we are honoured to be named one of the world's most ethical companies for the eighth consecutive year," says SCA's group function sustainability senior vice president Kersti Strandqvist.
The World's Most Ethical Companies list recognises corporations that go beyond simple statements about ethical business practices and that actually translate these into action.
This year's list includes 132 honorees spanning 21 countries and five continents. More than 50 industries are represented. The list has been running for nine years and is administered by the Ethisphere Institute, an organisation dedicated to advancing the standards of ethical business practices that fuel corporate character, marketplace trust and business success.
