SCA makes sixth appearance on ethical list

SCA - manufacturer of Tork hand hygiene systems - has been included in the list of the world's most ethical companies for a sixth consecutive year.

And the company has also appeared in Fortune magazine's list of the most admired companies around the globe. This considers a range of criteria including the ability to attract and retain talented people, quality of management and social responsibility.

The World's Most Ethical Companies list recognises corporations that go beyond mere statements about ethical business practices and translate these into action. Typical WME honorees not only promote ethical business practices internally, they also exceed legal compliance minimums and shape future industry standards by introducing best practices.

Of the several thousand companies evaluated only 145 featured in this year's list. SCA is one of only 43 winners based outside the US.

The World's Most Ethical Companies list was first introduced in 2007 and SCA has appeared every year since 2008. Only 23 companies worldwide have made it to the list all seven years.

"SCA's focus on ethical business practices and strong environmental conduct is a competitive advantage and a true business differentiator that positively impact on the company's performance," said Jan Johansson, president and ceo of SCA.
