Office of the future has no toilet tissue!

Dutch technology company Decos is so committed to the environment that it has removed all paper from its office - including toilet tissue.

But don't be alarmed, employees don't have to rely on drip-drying. Instead they use 'shower toilets' which wash away any residue. The AquaClean toilets in question - created by Geberit - use a pulsating jet of warm water before blow-drying with warm air.

As well as the toilet tissue ban, Decos has replaced printing paper, business cards and printed letters and contracts. So determined is the company in its stance that it will actually send paper mail back and demand digital communications.

In total, the company is saving 16 trees per year - equivalent to a tonne of paper.
