New Nilfisk dust extractors are developed with customer input

Nilfisk's customers are excited about the company's latest generation of high-performance dust extraction machines, according to group product manager Thomas Elmer.

"Our partners were looking for a new machine with enhanced filter-cleaning capabilities and our Attix models were developed in close co-operation with customers," said Elmer. "We have received very positive feedback about them."

The Nilfisk Attix 44 and the Attix 33 have both been designed for use in the construction industry and other dust-heavy sectors. Filters in the L, M and H classes are all available for the machines.

They can be connected to power tools such as wall chasers, sanding machines and grinding machines. This enables them to continually pick up dust from concrete, cement, wood and other sources while the operator carries on working.

The filter is cleaned every 15 seconds via a pulse action while the machine is in motion.

"The fact that the machines can be used continuously without having to stop to change the filter is a huge bonus," said Elmer. "There is a growing focus on operator safety and the superior filtration system of these products takes worker safety to a new level."

Another advantage of Attix models is that the operater's toolbox can be safely stored on top. "This is an added convenience and one that is increasingly being sought by today's customer," said Elmer.
