UK cleaning exhibition The Cleaning Show, originally scheduled to take place in March, will now be held from June 8-10 at Excel London.

In a statement the organiser Quartz Business Media said: "A decision wholly supported by the British Cleaning Council (BCC), it is obviously our hope that by then, the worst of COVID-19 will be far behind us and that organised business events can take place safely and confidently.

"The safety and well-being of our participants is our number one priority," the statement continued. "Quartz Business Media has worked closely with the Association of Event Organisers (AEO) in developing the government-approved AllSecure Standard. This document outlines the highest levels of hygiene and safety, and enables us to operate effectively and safely according to Government and local authority guidance.

"This will be the first opportunity that our industry had had to meet in person following one of the most challenging times for the cleaning sector in a generation."All existing exhibitor bookings and visitor registrations remain in place and will be transferred automatically to the new dates.
