Markus Asch confirmed as VDMA trade association chairman

German cleaning machine trade association VDMA re-elected Markus Asch of Kärcher as its chairman during its annual general meeting recently.
Also elected to the board were Uwe Brenne of Hako, Dr Reinhard Man of Nilfisk-Advance, IP Gansow's Guiseppe Mariani and Jörg Peter Staehle of Columbus Cleaning Equipment.
Asch commented on his re-election: "Representing the face of the industry in the public and political arena is a major task of the trade association. Likewise, close cooperation with our partner associations BIV (contract cleaning association) and IHO (chemiclas industry association) can lead to a strengthening of the equipment manufacturers' positioning."
