The UNI Property Services Global Union has announced plans for this year's International Justice Day for Cleaners and Security Guards on June 15.

Last year's event was the most successful ever, with more than 50 unions across 39 countries taking part. And over 181,000 people were reached through Facebook in one week.

So trades unions are now being encouraged to organise actions between Wednesday June 1 and Monday June 15. The themes for this year are:

• Intensification of workloads
• A fair living wage
• Insecure and precarious work
• Health and safety
