Italian Forum Pulire discusses integrated services4th of April 2012
Milan was the venue for the first Forum Pulire, a congress for the Italian market about integrated services that took place at the end of last month.
Over 280 delegates attended the two-day event - among them were service companies, manufacturers and product distributors. Vice president of the European parliament Gianni Pittella was also present.
The conclusion of the debate was that there is enormous opportunity in the world of integrated services, however still much needs to be done in the training and motivation of workers. There is also much potential for manufacturers to take advantage of the trends towards outsourcing and specialisation.
"Forum Pulire was the first real opportunity for discussion among all sector key players. It was the place in which to qualify everybody's expectations and to identify a line of reflection and discussion for the development of the entire industry," said Toni D'Andrea, ceo of Afidamp Services, which organised the forum.
"The fact all the major companies and industry associations present there have actively contributed to the success of the event is only confirmation of the need to stop and reflect, and to share problems and solutions."
The next event is planned for 2014.
