Global facility services provider ISS is to divest its non-core single-service cleaning portfolio in the Netherlands to Dutch cleaning company CSU.

As one of the country's largest cleaning companies is a well-known and respected market leader with experience in integrating activities from acquisitions.The divestment affects approximately 70 Dutch customers and, pending approval from the Netherlands Authority of Consumer and Markets (ACM), will see the transfer of around 2,200 employees to CSU.

Kees Stroomer, country manager for ISS Netherlands commented: "The divestment of this single-service cleaning customer portfolio is in line with our strategy of focusing on large national and international key account customers and on creating value through integrated facility management solutions to these customers."

The transaction is expected to close in November 2018.
